The unveiling begins - and what a year it has been for the Catherine K. Gyllerstrom Emerging Artist Award category! Open to all mediums, we saw an amazing and diverse selection of entries. Our Jury Panel - including esteemed Arts Champions Catherine K. Gyllerstrom of BearWolf Books and Vicki Fox of Quirky Fox Gallery - have been going through the entries and making the incredibly difficult decisions. Once again, the overall quality of entries was exceptional; we are deeply honoured by our community's interest in the Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize.
Entries to the 2025 Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize have officially closed, and the judging process is now underway. Our sincere thanks to all of the artists and photographers that entered. We are super excited with the array of entries and have already discovered a host of new creators!

The Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize celebrates diversity and excellence in the representational visual arts, in all static mediums including Traditional Art media, Digital Art media, Sculpture, and Photographic media; and all genres from realism and hyperrealism, to pop surrealism and lowbrow.
Beautiful Bizarre Magazine's 19th curated exhibition, Dreamland Awaits, is currently on view at Corey Helford Gallery in Los Angeles, USA, until 31 May.
