Founded in 1994 by Jo Hampshire, the Whitby Goth Weekend festival has flourished into one of the world’s foremost Goth events, including the ever-popular Bizarre Bazaar Alternative Market that features over 100 different booths of multiple interests and venues.
“The live music takes place in the Spa Pavilion which is situated on West Cliff in Whitby, North Yorks. The Bizarre Bazaar Alternative Market is spread over six trading areas in the town – The Exhibition Hall, the Foyer and the Theatre at the Spa Pavilion, the Sports Hall and the Community Room at Whitby Leisure Centre, and at Whitby Brunswick Centre.”

She will be in the Pavilion at her bazaar stall all three days with loads of merchandise, books, coloring books, oracle & tarot decks, figurines, prints, canvases and a dozen brand new original mini paintings created specifically for the event. The Bazaar is free to attend, no tickets needed and Jasmine is happy to autograph anything you buy at the show or bring with you from home! Whitby Goth Weekend is a longstanding tradition in the fascinating setting of the city of Whitby. Home to Bram Stoker’s Dracula, this picturesque Victorian seaside town hosts the semi-annual Goth Weekend atop the cliffs alongside the crashing waves of the sea, overlooked by the ruins of Whitby Abbey. The festival features over one hundred artists & craftspeople, concert lineup includes Heaven 17, Sigue Sigue Sputnik Electronic, Manuskript, Kitty In A Casket, The Mission, Skeletal Family, Children On Stun, & Chasing Dragons.
