January 5, 2017![WHAT DO YOU FIND IS THE MOST EXCITING PART OF THE CREATIVE PROCESS?
"To me the most exciting part about my creative process is the initial phase of doodling and sketching, in which I figure out what my next image will look like. There is so much potential in these first lines, it is very inspiring. But every step that is a bit more experimental is interesting to me, the parts before I need to commit to something. It is wonderful to get surprised by what you are doing and having this interplay between conscious and subconscious decisions. It's much harder to stay focused on the parts where I am just refining something or correcting anatomy. Sometimes I manage to get into a meditative state at this point, but oftentimes I am very impatient, to be honest.
