What’s your kink? If it is to see art that pushes the envelope, you may know the close relationship linking new contemporary art with wearable art and BDSM culture. Yes, now we can literally wear Erotica and use fetichism to inspire artworks. Superchief Gallery LA proves it by associating with legendary L.A. based maker of fetishwear, BDSM gear as well as sex toys, The Stockroom, to present the BDSM Group Art Show.
Of course, it will include some BDSM attire, with especially some custom painted bondage masks by Superchief’s artists JJ Villard, Yu Maeda, Ara Cho, Lauren YS, Sickid and many more. You will also be able to admire the fetichistic illustrations of one of Beautiful Bizarre Magazine’s favourite artists. Indeed, Ulorin Vex, a famous name of the scene, will presents some of her eye-catchy drawing. As always, they are mixing the codes of eroticism and horror art with brio. Lots of surprises will greet you at the show as all of the artists haven’t been revealed yet… so, if you are feeling playful, you know where to go…
