ArtHatch and Distinction Gallery presents Aaron Jasinski‘s solo exhibition “Hearasee”: A series of paintings that celebrates the acts of creating and listening to music. Aaron grew up in a family of musicians; and, his lifelong love of music has been a major influence in his visual art. Through the usage of vibrant contrasting colors, textures, and surreal humor, he seeks to evoke the auditory experiences and expressions of music through his paintings.
Aaron’s works will be on display at Distinction Gallery June 11 through July 2, 2016. The gallery is located at the front end of the two-storey 7,000 square foot ArtHatch building that houses “The Alley” (featuring numerous new and previous works by more than 75 artists), “The Teen Room” (featuring artworks by more than 15 young artists), 14 artist studios (featuring the works of more than 28 local artists), and “The Lounge” (containing 8 walls that feature the works of various local artists).
