"In school, I learned to paint in an order ā from the large, general areas to the specific details, completing the painting with the smallest brushes. Now, I use the opposite formula while painting. I start with small brushes, creating details the entire time. Then I start using the big ones, playing with the colours and the atmosphere of the piece, that's my favourite part of the process. You may even think that I'm covering the whole painting; it may look like I'm destroying it, but I know that I'm actually giving life to it. The scary part is that you have to plan it with order, otherwise you ruin it, but I guess that's the exciting part." "
