What do you think your art says about you as an individual?
My art reflects my deep connection with nature and my desire to bring peace and calm into people’s lives. Every brushstroke is infused with my appreciation for wildlife’s beauty and grace. It also speaks to my journey, leaving behind the corporate world to follow my true passion, embracing the freedom of artistic expression.

What do you do to help move beyond ‘Artist’s Block’?
When I feel stuck, I step away and reconnect with nature, take a quiet walk or observe birds in their natural habitat. Sketching loosely without expectations can also help me reset my mind. Sometimes I revisit older works or experiment with new materials for fresh inspiration.

What materials/tools (including brand) can you not live without and why?
I can’t live without oil paints, especially from brands like Michael Harding, Langridge and Old Holland, as they provide rich pigmentation and smooth application. Linen canvases offer the perfectly fine texture for my detailed wildlife paintings. I love using Rosemary & Co brushes for their quality, precision and durability, and a good retouch varnish to protect my work.

What inspires your creative practice and why?
Nature is my greatest inspiration. The intricate details of feathers, the way light dances on an animal’s fur, and the happy positive vibes wildlife evokes, all drive my creativity. I want my work to remind people of the serenity and beauty found in nature, bringing that same sense of peace into their homes.
