For Zachary Tutor, the opening of Hyper Contemporary accumulates 15 years’ worth of experience as an internationally renowned curator. The art aficionado, perhaps better recognised to date for his curatorial magic at Supersonic Art, Hyper Editions and The People’s Printshop, debuts with his inaugural group show at Hyper Contemporary: “End of the Century”.
It’s no surprise that the lineup of artists brings together over 25 of the world’s best New Contemporary artists in a profound visual exploration of nostalgia and memory. This carefully curated showcase delves into the essence of time captured, presenting an array of artworks that probe the enigmatic nature of memory.
“Through a diverse range of styles and mediums, each artist offers a unique perspective on how the past shapes our present experiences and perceptions.” shares Zachary. “The exhibition aims not only to display these remarkable interpretations of nostalgia, but also to provide a space for viewers to confront and reflect on their own memories and the role they play in personal and collective histories.”
The online group exhibition is part of the exciting lead up to Hyper Contemporary’s physical gallery space announcement, still to come. Until then, there are still plenty of original works to enjoy and collect!
