Anna Wypych (b. 1986) is one of those artists whose paintings become more interesting the more you know about her. A painter based in Gdynia, Poland, Anna has always marched to the beat of her own drum and has never liked to blend in with the crowd. She reads copious amounts of poetry and philosophy, and concepts and ideas inspired by those readings or her own ruminations often become the starting point of her mesmerizing paintings. As a full-time artist who is also a mother and wife, Anna typically paints women displaying multifaceted strengths, such as determination, passion, and positivity.
Anna Wypych – winner of Best of Show and Pioneer in Realism Awards at the 2020 International Guild of Realism and Purchase Award 14th International ARC Salon Art Renewal Center 2019. Her paintings are in permanent collections of the European Museum of Modern Art, Barcelona in Spain, the National Museum in Gdansk, the Museum of City Gdansk, Museum of City Gdynia, Poland. She presented her works at many juried exhibitions. Her painting was on the cover of International Artist (12/2020). The Paintings of Anna Wypych are included in prestigious collections such as The Bennett Collection. She lives and works in Gdynia, Poland.
I take Inspiration from what I see around me, but my personal thoughts are only the starting point and inspiration for the research on the man and his condition.
