The Dark Art Emporium Press// In deciding on the theme for this exhibition, we wanted to instill the title with something loose enough to keep the playing field wide while distinct enough to hopefully show a through-line in the work. Regardless if the artist projects the theme into an actual animal, or internalizes the meaning or finds something less obvious the play with, we hope you are inspired to examine and visualize your interpretation of this simple and powerful word.
The Dark Art Emporium is located in Long Beach, CA, close to Los Angeles and Orange County in Southern California. The Dark Art Emporium is host to a variety of unique art pieces which would not normally be seen in an art gallery including taxidermy, oddities, strange photography, etc.
