We're calling your attention to the very helpful🐴horse on the left side of this canvas who is generously offering its services as a sewing assistant to the red poncho-rocking lady.
Zoom🔎in and you'll be able to see the rather massive🧵threaded needle that she's clutching, the ends of which are coiled around/anchored by her equine compadre's legs and shoulders.🐎
Their brilliant teamwork has made the embroidered embellishments on her scarlet garment really pop, ey?✨
What always begins as random coffee splashes on Jette Reinert's (@jette_reinert) canvases inevitably morph into charming narratives teeming with interspecies camaraderie and an between-the-lines message that working together to achieve common goals is infinitely more fulfilling.
Have a friend who's been feeling a little blue lately? Then please share this creative sweetness with them - it may just make their day🥰

We were just one hot minute away from heaven thanks to the mere sight of this gilded open-weave @alexandermcqueen vest but then - boom! - the angelic ear wings that Szilveszter Makó's muse is wearing....whoa.....pure perfection.😇

Given the refined elegance of this beautifully poetic Art Nouveau-esque portrait by Karen Offutt (@karenoffutt), which - presumably - must have taken one billion hours of sweat equity to manifest, it is a little surprising to learn that she's actually a huge proponent of the 'less is more approach' to her craft.
In an article that she penned for @realism.today, she explained:
“Before my formal education in art, I was very detailed in my drawing and painting. Then I learned that for every five brush strokes, I should do three, and so on. That more efficient approach enabled me to see past the detail and to get the impression of realism—to have an understanding of creating something with more of a three-dimensional effect, using less information.”
We are still admittedly dazzled by this gilded spectacle of femininity married with nature and now think that perhaps Karen's sweat equity hovers in the far more realistic nine hundred ninety one thousand hour range.

These painting/photo doppelgangers by @adnate (IMAGE 1/3) and @photography_by_black_cockatoo (IMAGE 2) - featuring photographer Luther Cora's own daughter decked out in traditional aboriginal garb - are individually striking in their own right.
It's impossible to decide which - painting or photo?!?!? - is our favorite since what each artist has manifested delivers so much individual aesthetic shazaam...and OH the colorrrrrrrs😍

Is this sculpture by @polballonga the size of a collectible action figure, or a box of cheesy crackers, or perhaps a spry wildebeest?
It occurred to us that we *really should know* the answer to this question since Pol Ballonga entered our annual Art Prize in 2020 and was one of our @yashayoungprojects Sculpture Award Finalists!
We did a little snooping around on his social media accounts (not stalker-y at all - haaa!) and tah-dahhhh...the answer can be found in slide #2 of this post...and look, you can also see the Barcelona-born artist screwing in a lightbulb while perched on a ladder.💡
Everybody say✋hi to Pol - he makes really cool sculptures!
