This resonates! @artshatilov hits the spot with his painting ‘Cleansing’, “a prophetic picture from 2015”. The artist challenges our minds and societal norms with pieces that refer to popculture, history and politics, often equally dark and entertaining!

NEW BLOG POST // What barriers have you had to overcome to get to where you are as an artist today?
Artists @kjbowen, @petitplat, @neberra, @dariaaksenovaart, @feralplains, and @sharonenglandart respond in our Quick Q & A. Visit www.beautifulbizarre.net today [link in our profile] to see what they say in an article by @danijelakrhapurssey.
Following the loss of his job back in 2019, Manuel Zamudio (@raid_33) did a little soul searching and decided to throw everything that he had into his dream of making *art* his full time profession.
We all know what happened in 2020 and 2021 - so that certainly complicated his journey a bit - but the painter has still gained significant traction during a time in history when things haven't exactly been smooth sailing.
Some of our favorite galleries have been backing him, including @archenemyarts where his brand new feature show "Neon" is on view until Sunday, October 16th - so art peeps, if you have a dream, stay focused because life is short but art is forever!
Visit Arch Enemy's website to see Manuel's new paintings, and if you live in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area, write this date on your calendar:
Why? Because that's when you'll be able to see all of these shows hanging on the wall at the same time:
• Manuel Zamudio (@raid_33) - Feature
• Xhanthi (@xhanthi) - Feature
• The Darkest Hours 2 - Group Show
• Rebecca Reeves (@timberchouse) - Solo
