Transforming Pages into Art: Moleskine Project XII Shines at Spoke Art

Felicia-Chiao-Spoke-Art-2025

Currently on show at Spoke Art in San Francisco is their twelfth iteration of The Moleskine Project, which Spoke Art themselves proclaim as their “most beloved and longest running exhibition”. Featuring a broad array of artists, in the heart of these creations lies the humble Moleskine book. Within these pages, dreams have taken shape – graphite sketches dance beside delicate paper sculptures, plein air paintings come alive next to embroidered portraits. Each piece offers an intimate window into the mind and soul of its creator, transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary.

Since the first exhibition in 2011, this captivating exhibition has been nurtured and co-curated by the visionary artist Rod Luff, showcasing the diverse practices that breathe life into these once blank pieces of paper. Each year has brought something new, and The Moleskine Project has since travelled to One World Observatory in New York City, the Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum in Mesa, AZ, and been collected into three compendium books.

There are only a few more days to catch this exhibition, so don’t miss out!
