Amazing work by the 1st Prize Winner of the @yashayoungprojects Sculpture Award, 2021 Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize, @ddanne1984, "The birth of a dead bird" [Hand trimmed feather, wool, foam core, chenille stems, resin clay, acrylic paint, hand sharped silver wire, silk for the flowers, 27 x 27 x 6cm] from our recent exhibition at @havengallery
Peter Ferguson, aka @ethicsgradient2000, and his new paintings and drawings, will be on display at @roqlarue starting from the 3rd of December! Peter takes us with ‘Debris Field’ on a journey to a parallel dimension that reminds us of our world’s cityscapes and landscapes with a dark, often somewhat apocalyptic twist.
The exhibition will be on display up to the 1st of January, so make sure to end this year with the right energy and beautiful, bizarre art!
The image, the make-up, the look… wow! This photo resulted from the powerful collaboration between photographer @samoilenko_slava, make-up artist @olga_andriiash_mua, and model @veronika.maslovvaaa. Take your time to discover the whole look properly and get lost in these eyes and all the whimsical details!
In @zhonglin_’s works, the boundary between photography and the surreal is extremely blurry. Image 363 of the artist’s project to create a new piece each day for a year perfectly depicts one aspect we love the most about Zhong Lin’s work: TEXTURE! The artist implements so many visual connections that it seems we can just reach out and explore the surface physically. Do you feel me?
“I actually grow most of the flowers I paint (or at least gather them in the fields around the studio). Just rose bushes alone, I have nearly 50 different kinds in my garden. Today was a lovely autumn day to do reference photoshoots before the flowers die for the winter. Since I myself plant, grow and water them, every flower I paint feels a bit like a portrait of someone I personally know, even if it's just a small blossom in the background done with a few brushstrokes.”
What a beautiful secret! @janabrike and her paintings are simply everything we love in a single nutshell: The subjects, the composition, the environment she creates… The work of Jana feels like magic that keeps us under its spell! ✨
Follow @ruan.jia in a cyberpunk-fantasy universe and join the protagonists for the next adventure! Ruan Jia is a concept artist and illustrator who has contributed his visuals to video games like @halo, @warcraft, @guildwars2, and @diablo_3hk. His amazingly gentle use of colors and their striking combinations have caught my eyes, and indeed Ruan is one of my favorites in his field!

"As a spiritual person, nature is very important to me as it is a source of inspiration that never stops giving; constantly changing and evolving, each phase being as beautiful as the last. Feathers are my way to bring those elements into my work. What I love most is no two feathers are the same, yet all are as beautiful as each other in their own ways, which goes hand in hand with the human race." - Jay Briggs.
