Morgan Booth is in a blue period.
Looking at the colors that have come to define her visual language, blue is never working alone. Layers of red, yellow, and black move through her paintings (among others) with their own emotional regard, intentionality, and presence. What you see in this composition is also felt. This week, Modern Eden Gallery invites you to delve into Morgan’s solo exhibition, Venerate, where the dialogue of each painting turns inward, exploring the rituals we create around ourselves and the many ways resilience, conviction, and personal power become something sacred.
Throughout the exhibition, each piece feels like a visual conversation about what we carry with us. The divine serves as a saturated reflection of strength, the beliefs we cultivate, and the parts of ourselves we hold in reverence.

In Venerate, Morgan Booth turns the language of devotion inward. Drawing from the visual vocabulary of religious iconography and medieval portraiture, Booth creates a world of veiled figures, luminous halos, sacred color, and symbolic adornment and then disrupts that imagery with the visual codes of contemporary punk. At the heart of the collection is the idea of self-veneration: the recognition of one’s own inner authority, intuition, and power. Rather than looking outward for validation or permission, Booth’s figures embody a quiet declaration of self-worth. The halo becomes less a symbol bestowed by an external authority and more a reflection of the divinity already present within.
