Jari Di Giampietro, also known as YariDG, is a multidimensional creator of figurative literature. Jari was born in 1983 in Abruzzo, where he currently lives and works. His poetics has always been grounded in observation that goes beyond fact. studying the various expressive techniques used in sculpture, tattooing, watercolor painting, and oil painting.
His work examines art between spirituality and workmanship, ranging from hyperrealism to pop surrealism.
Jari Di Giampietro’s current figurative work focuses on nature. In an increasingly frenetic and exhibitionist society, in which people lose their identity and spirituality, forgetting about a nature that will survive us.
“My paintings investigate the psychological aspects of the fragility of the human soul, metamorphoses as metaphors in which the human body, often represented by the subject of the hands, and the naturalistic world, especially the floral aspect, merge in detailed and enlarged compositions to get closer to the viewer and force him to stop and observe and reflect together with me”.
