How often is Beautiful Bizarre Magazine released?

Beautiful Bizarre Magazine is an independent quarterly magazine. It is published on the first day of March, June, September and December in both print and digital format.

Can I purchase back issues?

Some issues are available through our SHOP while stocks last, however we recommend you contact a stockist near you.

What payment options do you accept?

We accept Credit Card or PayPal payments – you can also pay using your credit card through PayPal.

Can I purchase a print subscription as a gift for a friend?

Yes! Just tick the ‘Ship to a different address’ box in the CHECKOUT and note the person’s name/address in the box below. We will ensure they receive their magazine each quarter. If you would like us to email you a Gift Certificate that you can give to the recipient, please email us at [email protected] and we will send you a beautiful Gift Certificate to print out.

I am a University, College or Art School Librarian and would like a subscription of Beautiful Bizarre Magazine for our Library. How do I go about this?

We are able to offer unique subscription packages for libraries.  If you would like to stock Beautiful Bizarre Magazine in your library to inspire your students and broaden their vision of contemporary art we are able to offer a yearly or multiple year subscription.  At each new release, Beautiful Bizarre Magazine will be shipped directly to your institution.  For further information and to inquire, please contact our Deputy Editor Natalia Joruk.

What will be the first issue I receive after purchasing a subscription?

The magazine is released in March, June, September and December.

Your print subscription will begin with either the current issue if in stock, or subsequent issue if the current issue is sold out.

The Beautiful Bizarre Magazine distributor is in the USA, so all magazines are shipped from the US.

How will I know when my subscription is ending?

You will receive a subscription renewal notice through the email attached to your subscription with a link to the subscription page, so you may purchase another 12 or 24-month subscription at that time.

To avoid overlapping your print subscription, please either wait until the coming issue pre-orders close, or wait for our email letting you know the best time to re-subscribe to avoid getting two of the same issue.

How do I change subscription address?

Please email [email protected] with your old and new postal address at least 3 weeks before the release of any issue to ensure delivery to your new address. We cannot guarantee delivery if notifications are received after this time.

Will I receive a tracking number?

Your magazine will ship as/when you make your purchase, from our fulfillment company in the United States. At which time you will receive an email with your tracking number sent to the email you used when purchasing your magazine.

What do I do if the copy of Beautiful Bizarre Magazine I ordered has not arrived?

Contact us at [email protected] quoting your name and shipping address and we will follow up your delivery and advise its status.

Will you deliver Beautiful Bizarre Magazine to my City/Country?

Orders of all sizes ship worldwide, although shipping carriers and delivery times vary by country.

How much does shipping cost?

We get the best international shipping rates and ship to all countries.  The shipping will be calculated for you during the CHECKOUT process.

How long will it take to get to me?

You will receive your magazine will ship before the release of the coming issue IF you purchase prior to the pre-order cut off (2 weeks before any release). Shipping can take approx. 1 – 4 weeks depending on your country of residence. You will receive a tracking number sent to the email you used when purchasing your magazine.

If you purchase after pre-orders closed your order will be processed and shipped shortly after the release date of the next issue (1 March, 1 June, 1 September, 1 December).

Can I submit my work for consideration to Beautiful Bizarre Magazine?

Beautiful Bizarre Magazine encourages artists and photographers who would like to have their work considered for inclusion in a future issue of the magazine to enter the annual Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize. Entries are open from February – July each year. We are unable to accept entries at any other time.

Just post your work to Instagram with the hashtag #beautifulbizarre and once a week we will select some of her favourites for our weekly Submissions Sunday posts. Work will be shared across all of our social media platforms, with our over 1 million followers!

Is AI [Artificial Intelligence] art accepted?

Art created using AI image generators of any kind – whether entirely made by AI image generators or partly made by AI image generators – is not eligible for consideration.

How do you choose the work/artists you include in the magazine?

We start by choosing the art we love most and then what we believe our audience would like to see.  We also consider the overall tone of each issue and strive to achieve a good cross section of styles and mediums.

Beautiful Bizarre Magazine features artists from around the world and has a truly global audience. However, as Beautiful Bizarre Magazine was born in Australia, so we always like to include Australian artists when possible.  If you are an artist living and working in Australia we would love to see your work, see our Submission Guidelines re: how to submit.

Beautiful Bizarre Magazine welcomes advertising inquiries.
