There’s something so familiar and dreamy about ‘Hopscoth’, a new solo exhibition by Nadezda opening this week at Modern Eden Gallery. That quiet pull of a childhood memory, the kind you forget until it’s right in front of you again… like sidewalk grids drawn in pastel chalk, waiting your turn at recess, and moments that once seemed endless. Nadezda’s work leans into intuition and joy from a time when things didn’t have to mean anything and yet still mattered even if it didn’t always make sense. This collection seems to hold onto something just out of reach. It lands in the liminal, so light and lingering.

Looking for the perfect gift? Or maybe just some inspiration… take a trip down memory lane and see past and present exhibitions as well as all available inventory visiting the gallery website.

In Hopscotch, Nadezda explores a more playful and intuitive side of her practice, creating a mini-collection of paintings and drawings that blur the line between the imaginative and the figurative. Like the childhood game, each work feels like a small leap between worlds where scale shifts, curious companions appear, and tender, surreal moments unfold. Created in a spirit of quiet experimentation, these pieces embrace spontaneity and wonder, inviting viewers to move freely through dreamlike spaces where logic softens and imagination leads.
