Whitby Goth Weekend Featuring Jasmine Becket-Griffith and “Death & the Maiden”

Hello Autumn. Around here, things are starting to look and feel like Halloween and with the spectacular season comes the Whitby Goth Weekend, a biannual festival celebrating music, art, fashion and Gothic subculture. Victorian and Steampunk coincide for an alternative event unlike any other. To help mark this special occasion, Jasmine Becket-Griffith and David Van Gough will showcase their collaborative collection “Death & the Maiden”, and fill a stall at the Bizarre Bazaar with their individual creations as well as D&M artworks and merchandise!

Press // The festival is followed by an online steaming Halloween launch event on October 31st to debut “Death & the Maiden: Underworld” – the next epic installment in the collection at Strangeling and at TikTok Live from Whitby. Whitby Goth Weekend will also feature two new enamel pins – “Glowing Biohazard” from Strangeling and “Carrion” from Death & the Maiden, free with any purchase from the Strangeling/DVG/D&M/StrangelingUK stall, while supplies last. Original Sketch Cards from both artists will be available first come, first served (and you may expect some live drawing happening if you’d like to linger!).
