All the staff and the management of Beautiful Bizarre Magazine are now on strike from 3 - 5 July, as our way of protesting the stripping of reproductive rights in the USA, and other countries around the world. We understand that not everyone agrees with our position on reproductive rights, or is supportive of the way we have chosen to show our solidarity. However we hope you can respect our decision to stand up and not be silent on this important issue.

Despite the darkly humorous vibe of Andreas Claussen's (@andy.claussen) somewhat 'hell in a handbasket' imaginings, featuring a lone astronaut who - in this case - has nothing more than a blow-up 'emotional support pig' to keep him company, he's actually a problem solving eco-optimist.
Andreas says that the following quote from Andy Weir's 2011 science fiction novel, The Martian, is "the mindset I have and want to spread":
"At some point, everything’s going to go south on you. You’re going to say, This is it. This is how I end. Now, you can either accept that, or you can get to work. You solve the problem, and then you solve the next problem, and the next, and if you solve enough problems, you get to go home."
