Beautiful Bizarre Magazine has recently celebrated its 4th anniversary with the release of Issue 016 on 1 March 2017. To mark this milestone we felt it was an appropriate time to update and refresh our design and branding to more accurately reflect our fresh, bold, and innovative vision. At Beautiful Bizarre we are positioning ourselves to grow on our role as one of the world’s leading contemporary art magazines and as a respected and influential voice in contemporary culture for 2017 and beyond. Over the last few months we have looked carefully at all aspects of our public face, including our logo and branding, the look and feel of our website, and the design of our publication. You may have noticed the recent updates to the structure and appearance of beautifulbizarre.net, the first phase of this process.
It is with great pleasure that we now reveal to you the second phase of this project, the new logo and branding of Beautiful Bizarre Magazine and our web site. This evolution of our brand is the result of a close collaboration with representatives from the artists, gallerists, and art lovers that we work with to ensure we authentically capture our unique aesthetic. We hope you love it as much as we do!
We are also thrilled to reveal the cover of Issue 017 of Beautiful Bizarre Magazine featuring Martin Whitfooth’s incredible painting below. Pre-order Issue 017 now and be the first to get the new issue + save 17% off retail. Just order before midnight 16 May AEST!

We are very proud to be able to say, 4 years after our launch, that during that time Beautiful Bizarre Magazine has given artists and photographers, many of whose work is not widely accepted by the fine art establishment, a voice, a platform and a tribe. That we have inspired, encouraged and helped careers grow via our extensive promotion of both emerging and established creatives, and that we have been an important and influential part of the conversation regarding what defines “new contemporary” art in today’s society. We have introduced our ever-growing readership and following to artists from around the world who’s work they would not otherwise have discovered, and curated an experience bringing them the best of new contemporary art, culture, and couture.
Finally, on a personal note, please allow me to express my heartfelt thanks to the Beautiful Bizarre team and to you, our loyal readers and followers, for your continued support of Beautiful Bizarre Magazine, our artists, creatives, and the new contemporary art scene. I am honoured to be part of such a vibrant and passionate community!
