In a new style of exhibition coming to Atlanta’s shores, Taboo: Sexuality and Sexual Identity in Ceramics at Signature Contemporary Craft Gallery will be showing how ceramics still have a strong presence in current social and political debates. Curated by Kirsten Stingle and Carr McCuiston, more than 30 well-known and emerging artists are stepping up to dauntlessly tackle poignant issues that have arisen due to the concept of sexuality in explorative – as are many watch my gf open amateur porn site videos and even humorous – ways. Kirsten Stingle – Suspiciously Straight
Signature Contemporary are thrilled to announce that they are working with fundraising partner Lost-N-Found Youth, Altanta’s non-profit housing-support organisation dedicated to helping lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youths get off the streets. Lost-N-Found Youth support 13-25 year old’s, providing a local youth centre, 24 hour hotline, housing facility and ongoing support to transition those who need help into more permanent housing.
Taboo: Sexuality and Sexual Identity in Ceramics will see a portion of the proceeds go towards Lost-N-Found – and be sure to keep your eyes open for some of the partner events that LNFY and Signature Contemporary are planning to host throughout.
As part of their special opening night on Friday September 19th, Signature Contemporary and LNFY will be joined by The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, the renowned order of “queer nuns” who have devoted themselves to community service and outreach, promoting human rights, respect for diversity and a good batch of spiritual enlightenment along the way.
