Looking at Low Bros’ portfolio, you are instantly overwhelmed with a dose of nostalgia for everything 80’s. From the colour palette of much of the work, in bold Miami vice hues, through to the 80’s video game stylised graphics and vector inspired renderings, giving this high impact aerosol art a bold three dimensional aesthetic.
Low Bros is a collaboration between brothers Christoph and Florin Schmidt, formerly known as Qbrk and Nerd on the German graffiti scene. Born in Hamburg Germany, these two master aerosol artists currently reside in Berlin and have a strong understanding of 80’s and 90’s popular culture fused with animal and naturalistic elements. The accentuated use of colour value and shading intensifies the contrast and brings unity to these seemingly mutually exclusive themes.
